Bad news first. I have to have another round of chemo, as I still have some pesky leukemia in my body. It is such a small amount. The CT scan showed some of my nodules are cleared up and resolved, but I still have one marble-sized nodule in my hip. It gets smaller every day. My arm nodule, formerly known as Bette Boop, is so small she looks like someone stepped on a pea and inserted it under my skin.
If there can be any good news in this scenario, I had no problem drinking my two bottles of barium liquid for the scan! I took Ativan beforehand. It's supposed to help with anxiety and nausea, and really did the trick. The triple berry flavoring was almost delightful! I'll try that again next month if I get another CT scan!
Annette and Kent dropped by last night after an appointment at Huntsman. Annette bragged about how impressed the staff was with her veins and her blood. I was very proud of her, I hope I get the chance to get some of that blood soon. The earliest looks like September 22. Someone just moved the light further back in the tunnel!
