On Christmas Eve we were lucky to have Miss Carol come over for dinner. It was our first Christmas away from my sisters in Colorado, and it was nice having company to fill the void. We heard Verlene and Paul made prime rib for Barbara and her family! We had to settle for ham and a really good lava cake for dessert. We read the Christmas story and sang songs in the appropriate places. We didn't act out the nativity. I guess we'll have to wait for grandchildren before we dust off the donkey costume again!Sunday, December 26, 2010
Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve we were lucky to have Miss Carol come over for dinner. It was our first Christmas away from my sisters in Colorado, and it was nice having company to fill the void. ReplyDeleteWe had a nice time with the Stevens on Christmas Eve. We watched the begining and end of "It's a Wonderful Life," and played a game Barbara brought. Debbie called Sunday to see how my holiday went. Seems like she, Paula, June and Terrie and their families got together on Christmas Eve and played the same game Barbara's family and I played (Apples to Apples).
