I'm on the committee for the Columbia Stake Rose Ball, which is the end of April. I spent this afternoon gluing rhinestones to 7 posters I made for the church lobbies. I really don't think this picture does it justice, as the stones add such a sparkle to the artwork! I was very pleased!
The gluing was a little tedious, so I watched German TV on the Internet as I pasted. I learned the word "schnabel," which is the beak of a bird. I learned this as I watched the Munich zoo veterinarians polishing a bird's beak or teeth. I don't know which, as my German has some severe limits! Apparently, so does my biology. I wonder if birds have teeth...
Love the poster. I think you are so talent. Are you sure you don't want to be my decorative painting soul mate? I am suppose to get an account and password so you would have access to the web site. Do you think the USA zoos brush the teeth of small birds?
ReplyDeleteI love photoshop because I feel artist. Sadly, I cannot be your decorative painting soul mate. I really can't paint! This was a big bird, like a stork or something! Perhaps if I knew more German I could tell you the name of it!
ReplyDeleteWow! Love the poster. I think it is cool that you are having a jazz band. Joe has played in a couple of stake jazz bands (not for our stake but others in the area) One band was for a dance, the other was for a talent show. It was really cool to see what could be done with a little bit of energy and a lot of tenacity. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like quite a thrilling afternoon! I can teach you a few good German words! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the poster! You are quite professional with those now1
ReplyDeleteI love it, Just like I love every other poster you have made! Nice job!
