In honor of Crystal's homecoming next week, we bought a new mattress for her bed. The old one was almost 30 years old. Ed and I will celebrate our 30th anniversary in November, and that was the first bed we bought. A few years ago Crystal had pointed out that the bed was not all that comfortable. I wonder if after 18 months sleeping in missionary quarters she would have even noticed!
Are you so excited to have Crystal come home? Now you just need to marry one of your kids off. I only say so, cause I discovered if you mention marriage in a blog it makes people cry :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Brittany has a banjo ukulele???? I may just have to swap one of my kids for her -- she is just everything I ever wanted in a kid.
It turns out I have a sciency kid who needs swapped for a musical one. What do you do with a kid who opens up an etch a sketch just to see what's on the other side?
ReplyDeleteCan't believe Crystal is coming home. I just read an article that said a mattress needs to be changed every 8-10 years. And yet we worry about plastic bags and styrofoam cups filling up landfields.
ReplyDeleteG-Baby, I am saying make jewelry
