Lenny and Kay are out of town for 10 days. Yesterday Amanda and I started taking care of the horses. We couldn't find them. They were in the top of a hill in the big pasture, where they are rarely let free to graze. I'm learning that horses are herd animals. You just have to push one of them in the right direction and they all trot on down to dinner. We're looking forward to our stint at the farm. Coda loves it. She got to chase a lot of deer yesterday. The fields were full of them. The horses have to share their grass with the deer when Coda is not around to scare them off!
