Soldier's Deilight Nature Walk

I had a little time yesterday while I was waiting for my Mini Cooper to have some work done on it. So, I walked over to Soldier's Delight Natural Environmental Area to take the dog for a walk.

It was a new place for us, so Coda and I had fun exploring it together.

We did the Choate Mine and Red Run Trails.

And, wouldn't you know it, we found Red Run, a little stream running through the park. It was lovely, and Coda enjoyed getting her feet wet to cool off a bit.

We may have got a little lost, but luckily, I had my cell phone (with GPS) with me. Otherwise, we might have had to spend the night there!
