When I awoke up this morning and saw a foot of snow on the table in the back yard, I thought, "Surely, the Stake Women's Conference will be postponed!"
But not in Alpine!
I thank Ed for driving me safely to the church. When I got there at 9 a.m. the chapel was packed! And the majority of them had the courage to drive themselves!
This would not have happened in Maryland or Colorado! These pioneer women come from hardy stock! We had some speakers and workshops and a wonderful musical number written by my friend Suzanne Shippen! I was glad I went! (And that Ed picked me up afterwards!)
