A New Baby!

Brittany and John had a baby yesterday! Amazingly, it came on the due date! It's a girl!

They called us at 8 in the morning to pick up Mabel. When we got to their house we found her happily reading books with Doug and Karen, the neighbors who filled in until we arrived.

We took Mabel back to our house, stopping only at Walmart for diapers and a new ball!

Mabel helped us organize the pantry.

Then she entertained herself by stepping over a ripple in the rug again and again! Laughing each time!

In the afternoon we all met at the hospital to see the new baby!

Introducing our precious little Clementine Jane, coming in at 8 pounds 5 ounces and 19 inches long!

Mabel was much more interested in the balloon and Lamp Chops that Grandma Nuttall brought to the hospital!

She couldn't wait to go home and play with grandpa some more! It's going to take a few years before Clementine is this much fun!
