Dinner with the Stevens and Nortons

Our friends, the Nortons, live close to my sister, Barbara, and we finally got them all together for dinner last night. We had dinner at the Longhorn Steak house in Daybreak (yum)!

Barbara and Renee both retired from careers as bilingual teachers, and had a lot in common. It was fun listening to them compare their experiences in different states! Teaching is NOT the same in every state! (Barbara taught in four states!)

The men had to move to the other side of the table so we could hear the conversations we were interested in. I'm not sure what they were talking about, but they seemed to be having just as good of a time as we had!

It was nice having friends in high places, as the Norton's daughter-in-law waited on our table and got us preferential seating! It was nice not to have a long wait on a Friday night!
