On the way home we stopped at the Maverik station and bought one Cinnabon, which we shared three ways! We're trying not to eat too much till the big day!
We did a little shopping in the morning, then came home and brined our turkey for tomorrow!
We still had more time left, so we helped Crystal decorate for Christmas. Ed was in charge of his specialty--garland!
Crystal decorated the tree!
My job was making bows for the garland. It took me the same amount of time just to make 17 bows!
In the evening we celebrated by going out to dinner with Verlene and Crystal at the Lazy Dog Restaurant in Aurora. It had some great down-home cooking and great atmosphere. If we could have heard each othr talking over the din, it would have been perfect. Verlene enjoyed telling the story about our wedding cake, and how it got mashed in transit. We pointed out she had a similar accident with the chocolate tort on the way to Crystal's house tonight. November 21st must be a bad luck day for pastries!
