I've been taking Coda for a run on Monday mornings. She loves it so much, that it makes me feel guilty when I get dressed in my gym clothes and go to the gym instead of taking her out. Her only consolation is that she gets peanut butter when she gets left in the mud room. It's a toss up which one she likes more--running or peanut butter.
We've been running up and down Tally Ho Court three times. Since nobody lives here yet, it feels like a private track. Soon we'll have the earth movers to deal with, but in the meantime, it's just me and Coda. I hate it, but Coda loves it! I keep waiting for an endorphin to kick in, but I don't think it's ever going to happen!
Pet guilt may be the only reason we exercise, but the benefits are the same. We wanted to take Brandy to Cherry Creek on Saturday, but it was closed due to weather (it was a nice day, but Thursday was ugly). Paul wouldn't sneak in like at least 20 other people that we could see from the road had. So, we went to the little dog park. Still I think she had a good time and Paul and I got a little exercise.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty good look for you--not the red face, but the shiny pup and the great smile:)
