Hike and Lunch at Ridge Cafe

Brittany and John (aka the Pinyon Rats) stayed overnight last night and got up in the morning to take a hike with us.

We took them on one of our favorite trails, Rodeo Down, which parallels Grove Stream. There were signs of spring everywhere!

We stopped for a little while at Dry Creek to enjoy the rushing water.

Mabel was in heaven, throwing sticks in the water. Coda loved chasing the ducks!

Could you believe this happy girl could turn on us when we decided to move on? When she finds something she likes she never wants to stop doing it!

But, we had to move on, as we planned on having lunch at the Ridge Cafe at the top of
Traverse Mountain. I pass it every week on the way to my Dobro lesson. It did not disappoint. The food was fresh and delicious! We give it an A! We'll have to come back in the summer and enjoy eating outside on the deck!
