A New Day a New Drug

Day is dawning over the Salt Lake Valley. This morning I start a new drug, Campath. We'll start slow at 3 mg today, 10 tomorrow and a full dose of 30 on Thursday.  Barring adverse side effects I'll go home Friday and get infusions 3 times a week next week.

I like the name Campath. It sounds outdoorsy. Like camping or hiking. Maybe that is a good sign. I'll be getting the transfusion first thing this morning, which in hospital time is about noon!

My WBC is not budging at 191 this morning. Let's hope to see some progress tomorrow!
