Alpine Nature Hike Number One Again!

We had a fun time this morning on the Alpine Nature Hike Number 1! The weather was perfect, as was the company! Happily, the flowers were completely unphased by the snow yesterday!

In addition to the 10 flowers on our scavenger hunt, lots of new flowers are blooming, including this beautiful western waterleaf!

The Bowery area is full of fresh mounds of dirt. I'm trying to figure out what animal made them--a gopher or a mole! If you know, please let me know. We'll write all about it on AlpineNatureCenter.org!
