Today turned out to be a good day We didn't get my WBC till the afternoon, but it was 219, which was much lower than yesterday. I even got to go home from the hospital! And my appetite came back!
The nurse said my increased strength and appetite were from the steroid (Dexemethazon) they gave me when my fever spiked to 106 last night. I'm having another infusion tomorrow, and hope to get the steroid beforehand. Maybe I won't be hospitalized afterwards.
It rained all the way home. I loved it. It was like happy tears!
