We had a lot of fun this Christmas. we had a trip to Salt Lake to see the temple lights on the 23rd. The weather was perfect and lights were fantastic.
We enhanced the experience by taking the Frontrunner train and the Trax light rail to get there. Mabel and Clementine loved it!
Crystal got up at 3 a.m. to beat the Christmas Eve storm. She went in to work for 2 hours and left for Utah by 6:15! We were happy to have her arrive by 2 p.m.! We celebrated by having ice cream bars for us and a Frosty Paw for Coda!
On Christmas morning we wore our jammies over to Brittany' house. We even let Coda come.
It had snowed just enough that Mabel and Clementine were able to build a snowman. We were shocked to see Mabel could roll all the body by herself. She got a little help with the arms from her mommy.
We finished up a fun day by teaching Crystal how to play Quirkle, and ten letting her wallop us.
We also had a small commemoration of my birthday, with more to come when the entire family arrives in a few days.
I was feeling great, despite the fact that my WBC has started to increase. It was up to 48 by the 26th, which put a damper on the celebration, but we're hoping a new drug I started on the 26th will kick in. It is called Zydelig (idelalisib). The Ibrance was good for a few months, but started to fail, so we're hoping this will keep me down till I get into a CAR-T trail.
