Deer at Last

I've waited 5 months to see a deer on our property, and on July 4th, I finally saw one. I also got a picture of it! It was Amanda's eagle eye that caught it, and I ran outside to snap a photo before it ran off. It was peacefully eating our weeds (maybe my poison ivy!), standing right behind our forest conservation sign when he looked up at me. It was our Fourth of July miracle!
