Amanda and I bought some shelves at IKEA last week. She assembled hers (bookshelves) with no problem. I wasn't quite as lucky. If you get shelves that instruct you to tack the back on while balancing them in an upright position, ignore that. They shouldn't be held upright when they have no bracing! I tried not to cry when they collapsed in a heap.I was able to resurrect them with a few L-brackets, and here is my new music closet! It is right off the conservatory, and very convenient. I feel so much more organized now!
Now that the music room if finished yur have truely moved in.
