Last night I sang in the Alpine Christmas choir's annual concert, conducted by Marvin Payne. It was a great experience, going to 9 p.m. practices every Sunday night for 6 weeks! I enjoyed the music and learned a lot from Marvin's instruction!
The choir did 8 numbers, and there were also a number of solos and ensembles to mix things up! I really enjoyed Marvin Payne's band, Pennyland!
Ed came to support me and was able to sit with Ken's family. Ken and I were the only two people from the Alpine Cove ward singing in the choir. We're hoping to get a few more members next year--maybe Ed????
