Airport Take 2

Here we are at Dulles airport in Washington, D.C. We are boarding in half an hour to fly to Munich, and then from Munich to Cairo. If I don't blog again for 9 hours, that will mean we're actually on our way!

We didn't waste the whole day here, as we had time in the morning to go over the the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum at the airport. It was very cool!

It was fun going with Ed, as he has a passion for these airplanes! We were happy to see the F-14 Tomcat on display. That is our love airplane, as Ed and I met working on the F-14 program in 1981!

The Space Shuttle Discovery also brought back a lot of great memories.

The plane that made us the most jealous was the SST. We wish we could be flying one to Cairo tonight! Then we could be there in time to join our tour. Crystal is looking forward to a day at the Cairo museum with a personal guided tour all to herself!
