Making Choices in Salt Lake City

Yesterday we went to Salt Lake to visit three different places to make choices for Mom's new cabinets, countertops and flooring.

We were so lucky that Jon and Sara were available to meet us for a quick lunch at Zupas! Because they still have kids at home, their lives are much more interesting than ours! It turns out kids can be just as annoying as they are fun!

We chose some birch engineered hardwood for Mom's family room, kitchen and hallway. We love the variety of colors and natural look of it!

For the cabinets we chose a raised panel door with an arch top, not in this finish, however.

Her cabinets will be white, the countertops gray and white granite, with a bluish tint, and the bar will have blue cabinets when you look at it from the family room.

These were mom's favorite drawer pulls. I liked the pewter to match the gray, but she liked the brown ones to match the floor. Fortunately, we have another 6 weeks to stew about that before we have to make a decision!
