My mom has lived in Salem for almost 20 years now. She figured it is is too much trouble to move, but she needs a change, so is going to take the plunge and remodel her house instead!
We met with a contractor last week, and talked about the changes she is going to make. It will start with a new kitchen with white cabinets and a blue accent cabinet under the bar.
There are lots of colors of blue! This is going to be a lot of work! She is also getting wood floors in the family room and kitchen and new furniture in the family room. We're going to have fun helping her loosen her purse strings!
We're hoping to make it easier on her by having her stay at my house for a few weeks during the worst of the construction!
