Wedding Prep

Ed and I spent Satuday sprucing up the yard for the Rigby wedding open house. Ed had the big job, mowing and fertilizing the yard.

I had the pretty job--the flowers. I planted a ton of petunias lining the back walkway.

Although it can't really count as wedding prep, I also planted a number of flowers in the front yard, including these spiky-looking salvia between our boxwood and coral bells.

We were planning on doing these plantings anyway, so it was nice to have a fixed date to encourage us to get it done!

We were so relaxed by the day of the reception that we even had time to take the dog for a walk!
