We're in Tucson this weekend, but we actually picked up Crystal in Denver. We had a layover in Colorado,where we caught up with Crystal at the airport. We were lucky to be able to get on the same plane as Crystal, which took off only about 45 minutes after our plane landed! After arriving in Tucson, we stopped in to check out the much bally-hoo-ed In-N-Out burger to see what the fuss was about. It was just fine, but no Five Guys!
Budget gave us a nice rental car upgrade--a beautiful red BMW. It's nice looking, but Crystal likes the giant back seat in our rental Cadillacs better!
Ed and I are running on Eastern time, so had to dawdle a little before it was time for breakfast. It's hard to sleep in late when you move three hours west in time zones!
Brittany and John, on the other hand, slept in. They had driven from Utah and arrived in Tucson at 2:30 a.m. The slept in just late enough to still get breakfast before the hotel closed it up. We were happy to be all together, except for Amanda (in Minnesota), to celebrate our niece Melissa's wedding this afternoon.
