Cast a Giant Shadow

Ed and I went walking a little later this morning, hoping more flowers would be open. We also caught some great shadow pictures!

Our ploy worked, and we were rewarded with about 6 new flowers today! We can't keep up with them! This tufted evening primrose is only supposed to open up in the early evening, but graced us with its precense at 10 a.m.!

We posted some information on the Alpine Nature Center at three places in Lambert park, hoping to get more participation in our nature hikes!

Our second hike is ready as is the second collectible button of the season! We're happy to report that we've had several families take the opportunity to walk the loops and look for the flowers we've posted!

I made a beautiful poster for the Alpine Nature Center, with the guidance of Ed and Brittany, who kept telling me to tweak it! The flower is a CorelDraw rendering of one of the Arrowleaf Balsamroot in Lambert Park! I like it!
