We drove home yesterday from Denver. It is a long drive, but one of the most scenic drives in the world! We never tire of the view from I-70 in Glenwood Canyon!
We left Denver before 7 a.m. to beat the traffic and stopped in Idaho Springs for a very filling breakfast at Marion's of the Rockies.
Why is driving so exhausting? Ed says it is because he drove the whole way, but I found sitting in the passenger seat also makes you want to do nothing when you get home!
It had snowed in Alpine yesterday, but mostly melted by the time we got home. We were excited to see our beautiful redbud trees in full bloom! It was a nice welcome home!
