We went up to Salt Lake City to go to the Family History Library with Judy Krieger yesterday. She showed us her apartment, which is just a block from the library. She got hit by a car last month while crossing the street (the only street she crosses to get to work). She was doing very well, in spite of it. Her hand and arm are still wrapped up, but other than that she seems pretty spry still!
Ed and I were feeling a little more
confident in knowing our way around the library. We found a few more names, but the best date we found was the death records of Anne Maria Reuter (or Reiter) Haring, his great-great-grandmother. She died in Odernheim, Hesse Darmstadt, Germany in 1862 at the age of 59. It's strange to think that's Ed's age now!
