Maisel Museum

Who knew the Maisels (our neighbors across the street) have a museum of military history in their basements? They invited us over for a private tour last night. It was pretty amazing. He (Butch) does demonstrations and lectures and is an oft-consulted expert. He has a ton of US uniforms and other paraphernalia on display. He might be able to help us get more information on our ancestor, Charles Brady, who served in the revolutionary war.

  1. Too cool, you know that there is proof already that Moses Saunders did serve in the Revolutionary War.

  2. Judy,

Your blog is such fun to read. You and Ed are great explorers of your new home. Sounds like you're having a great time. We will have to share notes, we are in the process of finishing the kitchen in Leadville. I've ordered cabinets and we will be tiling the floor over the next few weeks. I'm sure we will move slower than you, with the distance and not having to live all the time in the mess. I'll keep you posted and send pictures as we go!
Take care--missed you at Bookies, but Skyping was great!
    Martha
