We got our new granite countertops today. The crew from One-Source took my old countertop in the basement, and the crew from In-Home Stone brought in the new granite. The island, which is pretty large, took 5 men to get it in.
So far, everything seems to be going well. No one has dropped anything and no one has been hurt. They sent the wrong color of granite for the fireplace mantel. Instead of green rainforest marble we got a tan Durango marble. Fortunately, it was a small mantel, and we should get it replaced soon!
