The Nortons, our ticket brokers, once again got us tickets to a great evening. We joined them for the BYU Homecoming spectacular with Gladys Knight, who has been a member of the LDS church for over 20 years now!
It was our first time seeing her in concert, and we loved her voice and style and passion for the music. She did some old favorites, like Midnight Train to Georgia, as well as some LDS hymn arrangements that added some new zest to old favorites. Members of BYU's a cappella group, Vocal Point, did a great job standing in for the Pips! Great job, sister Gladys!
Would like to have been there myself. Glad you and the Nortons had a good time.
