Ed and I watched the girls last night while Brittany and John went to a play. Mabel was very engaged in building houses with Grandpa and placing little squishy animals with glowing centers inside the structures.
We were having so much fun that we hated to put her to bed!
Clementine was a little trickier. We enjoyed coaxing a few smiles out of her. While she was generally good, when she got hungry, we had a hard time satisfying her.
She doesn't like a bottle, but we finally got her to drink a few ounces despite her discomfort. That tided her over just long enough for Mom to come home and nurse her!
