Last Day Together in Baltimore

We spent our last family day together in Baltimore. Wouldn't you know it, it rained! I think this picture is interesting, because we have a rain shadow! In the background is the inner harbor and the National Aquarium.

We started out at the Maryland Science Center. It was our first visit there.

They had lots of hands on exhibits, and we were able to even get our hands on several of them, which made it fun.

We walked back across the Inner Harbor to the Aquarium. After the light crowds at the science center we were surprised to find the rest of Baltimore at the Aquarium.

Despite the throngs, we were occasionally able to get close to some really cool fish.

They also have some pretty birds in a rain forest exhibit. This is us, not the birds!

We finished the day by walking over to Little Italy and having our farewell dinner at Sabatini's. It was a great vacation, and we were so grateful for the opportunity we had to share it with our family!

Everyone left on Sunday, three to the airport, and Amanda and Nolan driving back to Minnesota. It was pretty quiet here afterwards. Ed and I lounged around all afternoon and rested up for our next big adventure--cleaning up Christmas. I can't wait.
