Ed and I enjoyed watching LDS conference by the fire this weekend. It was so nice, that even Coda joined us for a few scratches from Ed. I liked the talk by Larry Lawrence, who said to ask the Lord, "What lack I yet?" It puts a new perspective on prayer, as I generally think I know exactly what I'm lacking!
For a special treat, I made a pan of brownies with coconut, pecans and walnuts, mixed with sweetened condensed milk on the top. They were delicious. We were happy when our home teacher dropped by with some summer squash to counteract the sugar! We also sent him home with half the brownies to keep us from eating them all ourselves!
