The Pearl Strings went gigging this afternoon to Springfield Hospital, here in Eldersburg. We had a wonderful time. It was great singing the same song set we did in May. We've recorded the songs since then, and have worked out some of the bugs, so it went pretty smoothly (as long as the banjo player didn't rush)!
The audience was great, albeit captive, and joined in on the singing and clapping.
We had aggreed to wear blue jeans and solid colored shirts, and look what we came up with, quite by accident! We never cease to amaze ourselves, musically as well as stylistically!
Afterwards we convened at Panera to talk about how good we were! We're our own best fans!
