Our stake had a special meeting last night at the Washington, DC temple. It was very nice, and we enjoyed seeing the large and beautiful meeting room on the top floor of the temple. We have stake conference this weekend, and in prelude to that the stake president, as well as the temple president, both gave short talks.
We followed it up with another touch of Mormon culture in Maryland--the new Cafe Rio, in the town of Olney! We stopped there for dinner on our way home from the temple! It was just as good as the one in Provo, and we are certainly excited they now have one out here! We came home feeling like we were spiritually and physically well-fed!
