I was admitted to the hospital Friday afternoon, and have yet to be treated with chemo. I'm feeling stronger for having waited, but my WBC went up slightly today to 92 after going down to 86 yesterday. We hope they start treatment this afternoon.
We have a nice view of some California poppies from our new room. We had complications placing a PICC line yesterday. Both good veins have blood clots. so they tried two other veins that were just two narrow. It was a harrowing hour and a half procedure that left me a little traumatized. Today I am getting a line in my neck through my jugular. That also sounds harrowing and traumatizing. Hopefully, it will not be so, and we can start the chemo treatment afterwards.
