Hole in the Wall Gang

Alex and Roberto must have drawn the short end of the straw today, because they spent the entire day outside with a jackhammer cutting a hole in our basement wall. This is the first (and smaller) window, which is going in the bedroom. It was an arduous task.

Henry was happy he got to put in the cannister light fixtures instead. He and Alex were a little sore from all the drywall they carried in yesterday.

Michael, with a little help from Billy Ray, finished up most of the framing, including the bathroom and the kitchen.

I bought three sets of Gorilla shelves from Sam's club today and assembled them and organized my new Christmas closet. It turned out terrific. I'm pretty proud of it. I'm also completely exhausted!

And, if that weren't enough, we had the vacuum company come over today and install a central vacuum. It has two outlets, each with 50 feet of hide-a-hose hidden in the wall. It's pretty cool. However, I'm much to tired to try it out tonight!
