I checked back into the hospital today to start treatment with a more powerful drug to beat my blood back into submission. The drug is Veneteclax. It is a new drug (one year old) that is supposed to have great results without too many side effects. They are admitting me to the hospital to make sure the initial side effects don't damage my kidneys.
We got a room with a view and an exercise bike, just in case I get in the mood to move! Today is mostly getting ready for the drug, which starts tomorrow morning!
On a happy note, my WBC finally went down a bit today--to 172!
